Every Moroccan hammam has one: the M'hekka, a carved terracotta clay stone used to smooth rough feet and heels. It's simple, natural and surprisingly effective at buffing away hard, dry skin.
What is an M'hekka?
Our M'Hekka Clay Foot Scrubber is handmade from natural terracotta clay, with a textured surface for scrubbing and a handle for grip. It's chemical-free and reusable.
How to use it
- Soften: soak your feet in warm water for 10 minutes, or use it at the end of a warm shower.
- Optional black soap: apply Moroccan Black Soap to your heels and leave for a few minutes to soften hard skin even more.
- Scrub: rub the M'hekka over rough areas in small circles. Use gentle pressure; let the texture do the work.
- Rinse and dry.
- Mask (optional): apply a paste of Akker Fassi for a rosy glow, or Nila to brighten, for 10 minutes, then rinse.
- Moisturise: massage in Argan Oil. For an overnight treatment, put on cotton socks.
