Sabounia means "soap" in Moroccan Arabic, and our Akker Fassi Sabounia is a modern take on a hammam favourite: a creamy, foaming body cleanser made with Akker Fassi, the Moroccan poppy and pomegranate powder. It turns your everyday shower into a spa ritual and leaves skin soft with a healthy, rosy look.

What's in Akker Fassi Sabounia?

Akker Fassi Sabounia combines:

  • Akker Fassi (poppy flower and pomegranate) for a healthy-looking glow
  • Kaolin clay to lift dirt and excess oil
  • Sunflower seed oil and glycerine to keep skin soft and comfortable

It comes in a 200g jar and is made in Morocco.

How to use it as a body wash

  1. Wet your skin in the shower.
  2. Take a small amount and massage it over damp skin in circular movements. It lathers into a creamy foam.
  3. Leave on for 30 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

How to use it as a body mask

  1. After cleansing, apply a generous layer to damp skin.
  2. Leave for 4 minutes.
  3. Massage gently and rinse with warm water.
  4. Pat dry and finish with Argan Oil while skin is still damp.

Use as a mask once or twice a week.

In a full body routine

For the softest skin, use it as the third step of a four-step ritual:

It gives skin a healthy, rosy look and rinses off cleanly. Patch test first.

What's the difference between Sabounia and Akker Fassi Powder?
The powder is pure poppy and pomegranate for lip tint, blush and scrubs. Sabounia is a ready-made foaming body cleanser and mask.
